DAY 2

Park HQ / Timpohon Gate / Ascend Mount Kinabalu / Panalaban Base Camp

Proceed to Park HQ to register for the ascent.
Your guide will complete paperwork and assign your mountain guide.
You will receive an ID tag for climb identification.
Wear your ID tag at all times during the climb.

Take a short transfer to Timpohon Gate afterward.
Your journey up Borneo’s highest mountain begins here.
Expect a 4–5 hour climb through changing vegetation zones.
Walk through Oak forests, Chestnut trees, and mossy landscapes.

Arrive at Panalaban Base Camp located at 3,272 meters.
Settle into your assigned hut accommodation for the night.

DAY 3

Low’s Peak / Descend Mount Kinabalu / Kota Kinabalu

02:00 Hrs: Begin your morning with a light supper.
Start the final climb toward the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
The ascent to Low’s Peak at 4,095 meters is challenging.
If weather allows, enjoy a breathtaking sunrise at the summit.

07:00 Hrs: Descend back to Panalaban Base Camp after sunrise.
Enjoy a late breakfast and prepare for check-out.

Continue your descent toward Timpohon Gate afterward.
Transfer back to Kinabalu Park Headquarters upon arrival.
Arrival usually falls between 13:00 and 15:00 hours.
