Kota Kinabalu → Mesilau → Maragang Hill → Kota Kinabalu

Option A: Trek Only

04:30hrs – Begin your morning journey towards Mesilau. Enjoy a calm two-hour drive.
06:30hrs – Arrive at the Registration Office. Meet your guide and receive safety briefing.
06:45hrs – Transfer by 4WD to the trail starting point.

The trail begins with a short paved uphill warm-up. Soon, the path enters dense forest with natural slopes. Some sections require holding ropes or branches for support. The air is cool and refreshing.

A mossy flat stretch appears briefly before the trail climbs again. Listen for birds and look for pitcher plants. Stop at the mid-viewpoint for photos.

At the summit opening, walk up the wooden stairs proudly. The 2,232-meter view is stunning. Clear days reveal Mount Kinabalu’s sharp grey peaks. Cloudy days offer dramatic glimpses and soft mist. Sometimes, a rainbow appears. From another angle, Desa Cow Farm can be seen far below.

Take a break. Drink water and enjoy your snacks while admiring the scenery.

09:30hrs – Descend using the same trail.
At the ending point, return to the Registration Office by 4WD. Collect your Certificate of Achievement.

12:00hrs – Enjoy a warm lunch at a local restaurant. Then return to Kota Kinabalu.

Guests with Option B (Trek + ATV) or Option C (Trek + 2D1N) will proceed to their next activity.
